3 wonderful years young

We all had such an amazing time celebrating Sages 3rd birthday.   She helped me make the cake.  The poor little girl received lots of clothes and jammies since her birthday comes less than a month after Christmas.

We have a new favorite activity.  Two rocking Fridays in a row now the trio has hit THE MALL!  And in a move that made this mom so proud my daughter was told not to do something by a mall cop, and my 3 year old was not afraid of authority.  She takes after her mom.

hello how are ya have ya been alright

Turns out I experienced a life change.  Three years ago I had a baby, most of it has been a wonderful blur of "was i a good mom in three most important years of her life?'   She has become quite a little girl. And her sense of imagination is growing so rapidly that bad dreams are visiting often.  Monkeys and spiders replaced demands for junk food during the early morning hours that she is waking up during.  I always almost say "Im here" even before she has said a word.

I have finished one cabinet in the kitchen in my quest for organization.   I recieved my tupperware modular mates and wow they made the task EASY.  But this weekend was mostly for watching Toy Story 1, 2, and 3 and relaxing with my family.  I will post pictures as soon as I learn how to load them. 

winterfest

I am going to give myself a winter challenge.   For the past two years I have been a mom to my baby who is almost 2.  Long story short, the house and its organization has taken it the hardest.  My appearance is running a close second.   I am ready for the next three months to be of new beginnings.  I need to know where the scissors are at all times these days.  Having to look for stuff is a waste of my precious time.   So I plan to organize and repurpose this house of ours.  We dont have a lot of space but we have all we need for now. 
I am not sure where to start but I think I will sage the entire house, and start by throwing away the clutter that came from a wonderful holiday season that has now past us.
I will be drinking hot tea, lighting a lot of candles, hanging with my family and trying to see if this process teaches me anything.

baby just not tired

The youngest member of the trio is a night hawk.  She really has no use for getting sleepy.  But when eleven thirty rolls around and 5 books have been read a couple of times each and she sees the look in her mothers eyes, then she points to the eyes, ear, hair, ear, eyes, eyes, eyes....something then clicks and she gives it up to visit dreamland.  Call me up in dreamland.  She rolled hard for 12 hours today.
